I once heard the following.
“Fighting for peace, is like having sex for virginity.”
Leaving aside the bad comparison, it’s interesting how folk who might have supported this sort of statement have adopted the very thing they protested against.
Now we see folx doing the following.
Lying to protest lies.
Slander to protest slander.
Hate and vitriol to protest hate and vitriol.
Violence to protest violence.
Support of obstruction to protest obstruction.
Racism to protest racism.
It’s sad to watch the “by any means necessary” crowd adopt the very tactics and actions they’ve been claiming they oppose, while offering ridiculous justifications for becoming exactly what they protest against.
Whether it’s in the Congress, mobs on the streets, those who hide behind the anonymity of social media, or bloggers who trade in inconsistency and falsehood, it’s an interesting case study of an entire political movement debasing themselves.

It is, indeed, and embarrassment have conservatives who used to value morality and Truth have gone Whole hog into lying and embracing the very worst perversions and cons all in an effort to gain power and get Supreme Court Justice is appointed. Woe Is them.
You might have noticed that my post didn’t single out any one political philosophy as engaging in this. Your eagerness to pluck the soeck you perceive in “the other” while ignoring (even engaging and encouraging who you decry) the log in your own personal eye (let alone your allies and groupie) is quite telling.
The problem you have, of course, is that in this era of trump, the false claimers, pedophiles, sexual assailants, critics of women, slanderers, fake news reporters,... Are generally by and large associated with Trump and his supporters. Therefore the speck is in our eye, not the log.
That you would presume the proverbial log is in our eye is telling.
I haven’t presumed that the proverbial log is in “our” eye as much as specifically in yours. Your most recent post is filled with falsehoods specifically about me.
Of course, I’m not claiming perfection for myself or my side. We’re all flawed sinful humans who fail to live up to our own standards. But to brazenly lie, to protest lies, is a new level.
There’s the difference between us, I’m pointing out the hypocrisy of anyone who engages in this type of behavior, you’re simply spouting partisan platitudes and closing your eyes to the folx on your side.
