If this story gets reported nationally, it'll get reported as a "school shooting" even though it is clearly not something that fits the normal definition of "school shooting". It was a shooting near a school, that has little or nothing to do with the school beyond that proximity.
I suspect that this won't get reported nationally, unless the shooter is white and can possibly be referred to as a conservative anyway. But if it does, it'll get twisted to fit the narrative.
