Kagan: "The government is paying for the medical services so they have the right to dictate the details of those services"
I guess it IS ok to let the government get between an individual and their doctor.
If anyone was ever in favor of turning health care over to the feds, this should cure that.
"For 2 years many of us doctors said that comorbidities matter, encouraging weight loss, vit D optimization, better management of diabetes etc.
Instead the narrative pushers offered Krispy Kream to folks at risk...
Now the CDC backpedals...really think a govt agency cares for you?"

Kagan's remarks are ludicrous. I don't know of anyone, particularly on the left, who advertised such government involvement was for any other reason than to provide for the needy in their quest for good health care. But it stands to reason that the government...especially one led by leftists...would make such demands, even beyond those meant to stretch the dollars. They lie about why anyone in government would want to outlaw or restrict abortion...because it kills people unjustly...as interfering with personal decisions. But now they're all about dictating what we do with our personal health care decisions. It wouldn't be as hypocritical and grating if Covid was the Black Death they pretend it is in order to compel compliance with their "vax" narrative.
I've been wondering what happened to the sacrosanct policy of "informed consent." I can't get a commercial on TV for a drug that doesn't include "Possible side effects might include ..." but not a peep out of the government about the possible side effects of the mandatory vaccine. I don't want the government involved in my health management when they are free to suspend whatever laws they like at their whim.
For that matter, not a peep about the know side affects of abortion on both physical and mental health.
It's quite clear that the end goal of government health care is control.
Have y'all see the video of the Canadian health official talking about the risks of COVID, who weighs between 300-400 pounds and who looks like he's about to have a heart attack in the middle of the interview? If this was about health, then they'd be talking about people choosing healthier lifestyles, not closing gyms, and not trying to restrict outdoor activities. It's common sense that the healthier we are in general, the better our immune systems will work as they were designed to work.
You're not suggesting fat shaming, are you? Oh, the horror!
Not at all. I'm suggesting that one of the best ways to fight ANY illness is to be healthy. Exercise, eat right, take vitamins, etc. We have an immune system that fights these kind of things by design. Giving people donuts to bribe them to get the jab seems to counter the whole notion of being healthier.
Frankly, we need more fat shaming. The trend is that one is just fine regardless of how fat they are. Women especially are enabled in this way, and it's absolutely NOT healthy. Fat ain't the only flaw which should be shamed. Shame is a good thing.
