This video deserves it's own post. The fact that the left has gone all in on ignoring centuries of Islamic conquest and colonization, in favor or other narratives is more evidence that the left isn't as concerned with history as with narrative.

I have been studying Islam for almost three decades and have even read the Qur'an. The vast majority of Americans and Europeans don't know squat about Islam and that is why Islam is taking over in England, France, German, et al and many cities in the USA. "Oh I have Muslim neighbors who are nice, friendly people!" Yeah? Well by Islamic teaching they are to pretend they are friends until in a position of power. Look what is happening in England!! And yet we all just keep importing them and keep voting them as Mayors, etc.
The old saw about those who don't study history are destined to repeat it will be remembered when we need a new Crusade.
Muslims are doing an excellent job of destroying the illusion of the RoP all by themselves. All we need to do is watch what they say, and how the act, to get a picture of what could be coming our way.
While I maintain my position about restricting immigration of muslims, it occurred to me that I should probably narrow that to those of Arabic origins mostly, or at least initially, and see what happens. I had, for several years, neighbors from Bosnia who were muslim, but very Americanized (aside from their accents). They seemed dedicated to raising their kids as English speaking Americans, though when the family from back home were there, the native language was required because the folks didn't know English. We got along very well with them, but it could be they just weren't religious. What few expressions of "religiosity" seemed rather general, almost like an atheist saying "Heaven knows". So they might have been "MINOs".
As we see in the UK, we should probably ban anyone from Pakistan.
