And blind pigs do sometimes find acorns. I do think it noteworthy that Maher is one of the few leftist media personalities who is regularly willing to call BS on the left. The number of times over the last year or so that's he's been on the right side of things is somewhat encouraging. It's good to see someone on the left with a bit of common sense, and the willingness to stand against the tide.
I would not pat him on the back too strongly given he calls out his own on the most obvious things. Yet, it is also true that he stands almost alone in doing so, though I still insist that warrants nothing but the slightest mention.
I'm not patting him too hard, but pointing out the fact that he has some influence on the left and it's good when he says stuff like this to his audience, Especially as they might listen to him, as opposed to a Charlie Krik.
