Bernie is almost there, isn't he, in his video. I choose to ignore the flaws in some of it and assume he's sincere about his opposition to political violence. It represents the best thing I ever heard come out of his mouth going back to the first time I became aware of him.
The dude who said he's no longer going to vote for any Dems says he's now red. Why was he voting Dem at all if some of his fellow lefties are acting the fool? What of his personal convictions which led him to vote Democrat? Will he now be for less government, a stronger military, lower taxes, fewer regulations, more liberty, personal responsibility, religious freedom and a host of other solidly conservative principles? Or will he register as a Republican and vote for Susan Collins?
Anyhow and otherwise, another fine roundup of rather pro-Charlie videos.
Again, Dan had every opportunity to say something similar to Bernie but he chose to make excuses. Bernie isn't perfect, but he's close enough compared to most of the bloodthirsty raving lunatics on the left.
Who knows and who cares. Whatever it was that pushed him away from the DFL is a good think. Too many DFL voters vote that way because of inertia and nothing else. If the responses of the left push people away from the DFL, then I say it's all good.
