"OMG: Now a LIBERAL Supreme Court justice is trying to teach Justice Ketanji Jackson how this whole "judicial" thing works... Jackson is the ONLY dissent. Sotomayor has to remind Jackson, for some reason, that the case before them is NOT about what Jackson thought it was. My gosh. "The plans themselves are not before this Court, at this stage, and we thus have no occasion to consider whether they can and will be carried out consistent with the constraints of law." "The relevant Executive Order directs agencies to plan reorganizations and reductions in force 'consistent with applicable law.'""
Just to be clear, Sotommayor is the most recent justice to blast KBJ for stupidity in a SCOTUS dissent opinion. Jackson must be a complete idiot if Sotomayor is publicly bashing her like this. She makes DEI hires look bad, and that's an accomplishment.

I seriously don't know the answer so help me out. Can a SCOTUS justice be impeached for stupidity? Of lying during confirmation hearings?
Can we impeach the morons who voted for her?
Those are all good questions, and there must be some rules/laws which provide the answers. I'll do some digging.
As to those who voted for her, if you're referring to the members of the Senate, that seems a bigger stretch unless there's some reason to suspect they colluded for some evil reason. I don't recall how many votes are needed...simple majority or some greater percentage...but given her inability to define what a woman is, that alone should indict her supporters as buffoons and partisan hacks.
If there is some protocols for removing a Supreme Court Justice, I would suppose...at this point prior to my digging...it may be one of those things where one party would not want the rule to be used against them at some point. In this case, however, that would be a worthwhile risk. In the meantime, would the open seat remain open for a time, or would they immediately have the prez seek a candidate for the gig? More good questions.

"America's first Supreme Court justice appointed based on DEI admitted during the Global Black Economic Forum that her opinions are based not in law but in feelings. She explained, “I just feel that I have a wonderful opportunity to tell people, in my opinions, how I feel about the issues. And that’s what I try to do.”"
I don't know about impeaching her for stupidity, but when she publicly admits that she's not adjudicating based on the law and precedent, but on her feelings, that might be grounds.
Given what she's said, which I've updated, it seems reasonable that she lied during her confirmation which should be impeachable. I'd argue that the senators that voted for her, given what we know now, failed miserably in their advice and consent role.
It's hard to believe she didn't "DEI" herself all the way through law school.
I'd say that the probability is high.
