I can't decide whether this story is good or bad.
On the one hand it doesn't help the ASPL narrative about illegal aliens and how law abiding they are. On the other hand it doesn't help the ASPL narrative that guns are incredibly easy to get.
But seriously, wouldn't you think that a police department would do a better background check?
