 "I looked into the numbers and I honestly don’t think Platner’s polling collapse prior to the rape allegation was due to his scandals. It was because he’s a leftist and working class voters figured that out when they started paying attention after the primary In March, Emerson had Collins losing by 7 to Platner and 4 to Mills and Platner was only down 1 among non-college voters. The last Fox poll had him -15 and the NYT poll that was only 47-45 Platner had him -21 among non-college and -23 among non-college whites The reason the normie Democratic female gubernatorial candidate was +12 over Platner in the Times poll was because she outperformed him by 15 among non-college voters and was dead even among men while Platner was -7. Platner had garbage support levels among the working class white men he was supposedly recruited to win back. When you consider the congressional races, he underperformed every other Democrat in the state with men, working class voters, and the rurals and also polled way behind Kamala with the same demographics. This was all before the rape allegation Why would working class white men be the only ones to massively turn against Platner over sex and domestic violence scandals? They wouldn’t. Working class voters don’t pay attention to primary elections and swung hard against Platner the second they realized he was a commie. They also probably didn’t appreciate finding out his whole persona was a LARP and he was basically performing a working class minstrel show Once again, progressives know literally nothing about the working class voters they claim to speak for."
