I'm not a car guy at this point in my life, I was when younger, but not so much right now. It probably has something to do with not being able to afford the cars I'd like to own.
Having said that, the red paint that Mazda uses on some of their cars is simply gorgeous. It's kind of like the best Candy Apple red from back in the day but better.
On a similar note, I saw a C8 the other day (possibly the most interesting Corvette in decades) that was painted the most boring shade of brown I can imagine. I cannot fathom anyone that would intentionally choose that color.

I think i know the red of which you speak. I think I like it better than Candy Apple Red.
Haven't seen brown on a 'Vette. What a strange choice. The wife and I pointed out a disgusting color that was some kind of yellow/green thing I couldn't describe. Brown is better.
I saw a really cool orange color on what I is a Humvee.
Yeah, it has depth to it or something. It's unique to Mazda and I'm surprised more makers haven't tried to copy it.
Yeah, the brown Corvette was seriously ugly. I personally can't imagine choosing that color, if it was the only one is stock I'd wait. Makes no sense.
Yeah, I've seen that orange Hummer color. It's not my personal taste, but I could totally see it being a hit with people my kid's age.
I kind of like the new Hummer, but I'm out on an EV.
