I'll let WK's post handle the details, but I'd seen this several places and wanted to comment.
I've been told that it is absolutely necessary to "trans" everyone who says they want to, and that the hormones are totally reversible.
We've learned that the hormones are not reversible, now we're seeing that more countries including Britain are stopping "transing" children and adolescence because of the dangers involved. I'd be shocked if the same pro "trans" folx in the US aren't still making the same arguments in favor of "transing" people as soon as possible, despite what we're seeing elsewhere.
What's next for the "trans" agenda? Studies that call into question the talking points about suicide?
People getting "vaginas" made out of colon tissue, and having that go as poorly as you'd think?
Data that shows that people who ID as "trans" will likely ID as something else at lest once during their lives?
There is a saying that is used in the mental health community about not rushing into a permanent solution to a temporary problem. It sounds like that applies here as well.

That goes without saying. Although in this case the narrative is that Europe is backing off of it's early commitment to go all in on "transing" children. Given the fact that the APL idolizes Europe when it comes to medical stuff, this seems like it should be a big deal to them. Yet, as with COVID, the folx who love Euro Socialized medicine, don't seem to care much about what Euro experts conclude, when it doesn't fit the narrative.
What I notice is that had people followed the advice of many of us, which was "Maybe we shouldn't rush into this, and maybe we shouldn't make irreversible changes to children.", the response would be gratitude that we'd averted a disaster. Now they're going to fight against this tooth and nail, despite the fact that these are literal experts changing their minds.
They're no longer "experts" if they reject the lefty narrative. Don't you know that?
