The problem with your first statement is that the UK Muslim population is still a small minority. The UK government has chosen to provide this minority with virtual immunity from actions that should result in sever penalties, while excessively punishing UK subjects who might object to this state of affairs. The solution is relatively simple. Severely punish Muslims when they commit crimes. Execute, imprison, or deport any Muslim convicted of a crime immediately and before long the problem will go away. My problem is that deporting them back to a place where they can continue to rape children doesn't seem like much of a punishment to me. But incarcerating them seems unfair to the majority of Brits.
The problem is that these countries have chosen to placate the Muslim minorities because they know that acting otherwise will result in violence. To which I say, protect your own citizens/subjects first and if you have to put down a violent uprising with greater violence, then do do.
