In Canada, a country that most would consider to be a free country, they've banned walking in public forests and will fine you at least $25,000 for doing so.
Free euthanasia, long waits for basic health care, lies about the residential schools, punishment for peaceful protests, high costs of living, and more right across the border.

While on the one hand, Trump's suggestion of making Canada the 51st state has appeal in a most general, theoretical sense, the fact is that most of it is populated by some of the worst examples of "progressive" who would give our own a run for their money in a stupid competition.
The problem with making Canada the 51st state is that there is a concentrated and entrenched critical mass concentrated in Quebec, Ontario, and BC which would benefit the DFL in elections.
I'd be fine if Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba wanted to join the US, that makes sense. But for Canada, no think you until they clean house.
